PBO Act
Kenya’s Public Benefit Organizations Act, No. 18 of 2013 — the statute that replaced the NGO Co-ordination Act as the framework for registering and regulating non-profits. It was passed in 2013 and brought into force more than a decade later.
Better legislation than what it replaced, on almost every measure. Registration rates barely moved. That gap is the subject of four papers here.
